IIFT is successfully running having its two centers one being located at Bagbazar Plaza, Heritage Plaza Kathmandu and the other at Manbhawan, Lalitpur leasing the area of 10000 square feet. We provide the highest standard of education for the fashion and interior industry and provide the platform to enhance skills to become an industry expert by providing classes. Interior design is a multidimensional profession that includes space planning as per shapes of room’s walls, floors and more. It is the combination of art and science which enhances the interior of building an aesthetically pleasing environment for the people by using the space. Interior design is the art of executing commercial spaces or homes’ designs to create a client's desired environment. 

We provide 15 months and 3 months session of Diploma in Fashion and Interior Design covering only 2 hrs classes per day and six days a week.

Job Description

The Front Desk Officer at the International Academy of Interior Design will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. This role requires a friendly, professional, and organized individual who can manage front desk operations effectively and ensure a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet faculty members, visitors, students and other relevant stakeholders who visit office and respond politely to their queries.
  • Provide general information of the institute if required in friendly manner.
  • To respond to telephone enquiries and correspond messages to the relevant persons. 

Admission:

  • Arrange counselling to the students and parents.
  • Maintain counselling file as per the standard operation procedure of admission.
  • Booking of seats for admission and admission of students. 
  • Follow up interested students for admission.
  • Provide student details to the Sr. Admin officer to prepare student identity card.
  • Prepare student counselling status report and report regularly to the management.
  • Prepare student status report and report regularly to the management regularly.

Training:

  • Prepare batch wise student attendance sheet and maintain proper student attendance.
  • Receive lecturer log book from the Academic Department and maintain individual lecturer logbook separately.
  • Follow up students those who are absent and maintain student absent Reason register. 
  • Report to the Academic Department and supervisor if students seem drop out.
  • Prepare Batch Wise Student Record Sheet and communicate batch confirmation to the Academic Department.
  • Communicate students about their training start date after getting information from Academic Department. 

Finance:

  • Receive admission fees, tuition fees, exam fees from the students.
  • Issue bills and provide receipt to the students and parents.
  • Deposit cash in the bank account.
  • Prepare Monthly Receipt statement.
  • Follow up students to pay their dues on time. 
  • Receive bills, invoices from external parties and hand over to Sr. Admin Officer.

Filing:

  • Maintain incoming and outgoing letter register. 
  • Maintain office copy of incoming and outgoing letter according to the file structure of our organization.
  • File official documents according to the file structure of the institution. 

Store Keeping:

  • Maintain store book and get verified on the monthly basis from the supervisor.
  • Report to the supervisor if items are out of stock.
  • Distribute store items to the person required.

Fixed Asset Inventory:

  • Maintain Fixed Asset Inventory Book, Fixed Asset Ledger Book and Individual Fixed Asset Ledger book.
  • Conduct annual inventory with the supervisor and document the annual inventory process.
  • Perform other duties as required.

NOTE: Working Time (6:30 AM -3:30 PM)
