About the job

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Front-Desk Officer to join our team. The Front-Desk Officer will be responsible for managing incoming calls, visitors, and inquiries with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone calls and visitors, directing them appropriately and maintaining detailed logs for reference.
  • Monitor student attendance, providing daily reports to program management and offering counseling as needed.
  • Disseminate information about college programs, guiding visitors to relevant departments for assistance.
  • Assist with admissions processes, including organizing exams and paperwork, while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate appointments for external parties with management or department heads.
  • Maintain accurate records in student and college management systems, including attendance and inquiries.
  • Supervise and guide supporting staff, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and upholding discipline for a professional atmosphere.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and issues from students, faculty, and staff, demonstrating problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
