Job Description

Reports to CEO

Purpose: To greet and attend to all visitors/patients, provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service in order to maximize patient/visitors satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Attends courteously to all incoming and outgoing calls and takes messages whenever necessary.
  • Centrally handle telephone calls and transfer to the concern authority and departments.
  • Keeps telephone numbers of all visiting consultants, in-house doctors, hospital, executives, nursing homes, ambulance services, hospital, etc.
  • Ensures that all visitors/patients are greeted and attended to immediately upon arrival and provide them necessary assistance.
  • Provide accurate and complete information to queries made by patients and visitors in a professional way.
  • Ensure that the OPD registration process is carried out according to the institution's established standards. 
  • Being at the centre of the Institute keeps up-to-date with all the happenings at the Institute and ensures that correct information is disseminated.
  • Ensures that the reception areas are in proper order and cleaned regularly.
  • Is aware of the patients admitted and their wards.
  • Give appointment to patients for the respected consultants.
  • Participating in various training & grooming classes identified by the Institute.
  • Handles cash of all OPD sales and deposits with accountant after every shift.
  • Understands and implements payment and cash handling policies and procedures in a thorough manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and stressful situation
  • Employee on duty must be available according to the assigned roster, wearing the uniform of the organization and with their identification cards clearly visible 
  • Handover and takeover must be made according to the duty roster.
  • The Employee takes full responsibility to maintain confidentiality of, and in relation to, office affairs, reports and such matters, which have to keep confidential by nature thereof.
  • Any other job as assigned by the Supervisor or the management.
