This position is required to support on grant and compliance management specially finance area of restricted projects. The officer is also responsible to review partner’s financial reports along with spot checks and partners capacity building in finance and admin area.

Job Description and Specification:

• Keep update of restricted project related income and expenditure on monthly basis
• Keep track of contracts with donors as well as implementing partners. Update and report on grant tracking sheet
• Assist Finance Director initiating and working with Project Manager (or Budget Holders) on budget revision to match with the project variation
• Review and recommend fund transfer request received from partners
• Assist to prepare financial reports to be sent to donors and/or funding countries
• Assist to prepare monthly grant expenditure table along with narratives in consultation with Project Managers and other department heads
• Follow up, obtain and review periodic expenditure reports and supporting documents from implementing partners
• Review and follow up of donor compliance to be followed up both by HFHN and partners particularly restricted and/or grant projects context
• Monitoring and supervision visit to implementing partners in the area of admin, finance and related compliances
• Any other job as assigned by supervisor

Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent in a relevant field
• At least two years’ experience in financial role in Development sector. 
• Working on grant projects, partner’s capacity building and review and monitoring in finance and admin area will be given priority.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skill.
• Willingness to travel domestically on short notice
• Must be fluent in both English and Nepali.
