Roles and responsibilities of this job

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Finance Head

Key Responsibilities·

Prepare daily OPD/lab billing and ensure accurate service entries.
Handle cash, digital payments, and maintain receipts properly.
Manage petty cash and maintain the petty cash ledger.
Reconcile daily cash collection with system reports.
Deposit cash/cheques to bank as instructed.
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
Maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and financial files.
Update accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) records.
Track B2B client billing and credit transactions.
Prepare monthly billing statements for corporate/B2B partners.
Verify outsourcing test billing and reconcile outsource reports.
Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements.
Record bank transactions including QR/online collections.
Track outstanding dues and pending payments.
Submit daily collection reports to Finance Manager/Management.
Assist in preparing monthly revenue and expense reports.
Support internal/external audit documentation.
Follow finance-related SOPs, internal controls, and audit guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient billing data.
Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Must have prior experience working in a diagnostic laboratory finance or billing department.
+2 in Management/Commerce (Bachelor’s preferred or ongoing).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Familiarity with billing software/accounting systems (Tally/ERP preferred).
Proficiency in MS Excel and data entry.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle cash and digital payments responsibly.
Ability to work under pressure and manage peak-hour workloads.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
