We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Officer with a background in accounting and finance, preferably a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing reconciliations and reports, and supporting audit activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, time management, and sound knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

 Responsibilities:

• Prepare Monthly VAT Reconciliation, Excise Reconciliation, Salary Reconciliation, TDS Reconciliation, and Interest Reconciliation with bank statement 
• Accounting and keeping records of Forex Gain/Loss realized and unrealized
• Monthly updating of the Fixed Assets Register under all categories of Fixed Assets 
• Tracking CWIP and monitoring the addition to Fixed Assets
• Calculation of Annual Income Tax under all Expenses, including salary, and ensuring accurate compliance at the end of the fiscal year 
• Calculation of Prepaid for related expenses and ensuring prior period expenses are avoided
• Monthly Variance Analysis under all Headings and finding the reason for the higher difference
• Assisting in the preparation of the Monthly Cost sheet
• Assisting the auditors in closing the audit and providing them with details as required.
• Entire ledger scrutiny- verifying entries under all ledger heads and finding out in case of incorrect entries (on a weekly basis).
• Preparing and providing other reports as required.
