About the Role
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our company by overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations for multiple properties.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including recording transactions, processing invoices and payments, and reconciling bank statements for all Nana properties.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records by accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) for Nana as a whole and for each individual property.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, monitor performance against budgets, and generate financial reports for management review.
- Participate in budgeting, and forecasting revenue and expenses for each Nana property.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable on a centralized basis, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from guests across all properties.
- Oversee payroll processing (depending on company size).
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial compliance across all Nana properties.
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Provide financial support and guidance to other departments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
