JOB OVERVIEW:
The Finance Officer plays a crucial role to effectively engage, support and monitor finance activities in the country office to ensure sound financial management, risk identification and management, compliance, planning/reporting and financial controls to achieve objectives under ZSL 200. The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Country Director, Finance and Operations Manager and Project Lead for soft services to deliver the responsibilities and activities as noted within the key responsibilities section of this document, focussing predominantly on the areas of Hard Facilities Management, Asset Management, Workplace Management, etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 3 years or above of relevant accounting and financial management experience. Extensive experience in the development and variance analysis of budget. Proven experience in undertaking financial reporting responsibilities. The candidate must be educated to Master's degree level in relevant subject, or related subject area, or equivalent qualification, or demonstrate such a level of equivalent qualifications and experience through relevant practical work experience.
