Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Finance Officer is responsible for the integrity of the company financial information and records to ensure accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting is provided to enable the operational management of the business.

The Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining the books of accounts of two branches of this company in Chabahil and Koteswor. However, we are willing to offer alternate working days in each location to reduce the commute and because of the less volume of financial transactions in each branch.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance or higher is required.
Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting environment.
Has previously used Tally or other related accounting software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.

MAJOR DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bookkeeping of the financial transactions
Filing tax returns of the company
Preparation of the financial statements of the company.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities in the company.
Manages the cash-flow of the company.
Manages Accounts Receivables AR to secure proper funding of operation.
Manages Accounts Payables AP to meet agreed payment terms.
Approves monthly salary payments and ensures timely payout.
Define standardized financial processes and ensure adherence to processes.
Provides relevant financial data to the directors on a quarterly basis.
