Roles and responsibilities of this job

Core Responsibilities

Financial strategy and planning:

Develop long-term financial strategies to align with business objectives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Support strategic investment decisions and business growth.

Financial management and reporting:

Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
Prepare quarterly and annual reports for stakeholders and auditors.
Monitor and analyze key financial and performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable/receivable, and prepare accurate financial statements.

Accounting and compliance:

Develop and maintain accounting systems and procedures.
Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Manage banking transactions and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and tax laws.
Coordinate with auditors for periodic financial audits and ensure timely compliance.

Leadership and Team management:

Supervise and mentor other finance professionals, analysts, and managers.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, supply chain, HR) to align financial and business goals.
Assist in the general management of finance personnel and HR-related matters.

Required skills and qualifications

CA preferred, Master degree in accounting, finance, business,
5-7 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English including verbal and written, with presentation and demonstration abilities
Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and data visualization tools is highly desirable.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities is often required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
