The Reducing Child, Early and Forced Marriage (Nepal R-CEFM) Project (Feb 2020 – April 2022)goal is to strengthen the institutional and technical capacity of the Government of Nepal (GON) in Province 2 at the province and municipal levels to design, implement, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate effective social and behavior change (SBC) activities and to strengthen child protection systems for reducing CEFM through a community-based, multi-sectoral, data-driven lens. As part of its COVID response, the project will also implement an education component/learning continuity program to increase learning outcomes for adolescent girls through remedial education.

General Summary/Purpose:
At the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP), we believe in the power of communication to save lives, by empowering people to adopt healthy behaviors for themselves, their families and their communities.
CCP is seeking a Finance and Operations Director (FOD) for an anticipated USAID-funded Adolescent Reproductive Health /Family Planning (RH/FP) project which will focus on strengthening the government, non-government, private sector, and community systems to meet the needs of youth and adolescents. The position will operate under the leadership of the Chief of Party and will be responsible for all CCP’s financial, administrative, and human resources management, monitoring and reporting in Nepal. The FOD will be responsible for the timely completion of accounting, administrative and financial monitoring and reporting requirements, ensure project is in compliance with all USAID and CCP policies and regulations as well as local laws, and oversee other general operations for CCP Nepal country office.

Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to communicate and conduct meetings and presentations in both English and Nepali.
