Filed Program Officer 

Major Responsibilities: The Field Program Officer is responsible for liaison with Park authorities, Buffer zone management council ander committers and Division Forest Offices. S/he provides technical guidance to subsante and monitors effectiveness and efficiencies during field implementation. This position is based in the field and requires substantial travel to the remote project sites.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Conservation Biology. Environment Science. Forestry, or other related field with at least 3 years of experience in-country in integrated landscape conservation, community forestry and/or natural resource management. A sound knowledge in biodiversity conservation, governance in NRM sector gender and social inclusion, livelihood, conservation policies and current development issues in Nepal is desired. S/he should have experience in capacity building, planning communication and monitoring and evaluation. Experience of working with field-hand conservation and development initiatives diverse community groups in various altitudinal gradients in the country and government agencies is a must.
