Filed Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Officer
Major Responsibilities: The Field Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer is responsible to lead in tracking results using the project's results framework and ensure the database generation, authentication and management. S/he provides technical support to project manager and field manager in adaptive management practices. This position is based in the field and requires substantial travel to remote project sites.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Natural Resource Management Environment Management or related field with at least 3 years of field experience in the implementation and management of which at least 2 years must be in natural resource management projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of independently handling M&E work of projects of over USD 1 million per year and other GEF projects. The candidate should be technically proficient and qualified in the field of monitoring and evaluation. Updated knowledge with working experience in Geo-spatial environment (GIS) is desirable.
