About the Role: 

The Field Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Aloi’s operations by coordinating with co-operatives for their daily deposits, gathering vital information from the field, and reporting back to the office. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong ability to build rapport, and experience in providing training and workshops to farmers and entrepreneurs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Co-ordination of Daily Deposits: 

  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and local co-operatives for managing daily deposits in Aloi’s platform. 
  • Monitor timely and accurate collection of deposits, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reported. 
  • Assist co-operatives in resolving any issues related to deposits or transactions. 

Field Data Collection: 

  • Gather key data and insights from farmers, entrepreneurs, and co-operatives to assist in the company’s operations. 
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement or support. 
  • Provide feedback and suggestions based on field interactions to help improve services. 
  • Collect testimonials and make case studies. 

Reporting: 

  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on co-operative activities, deposits, and any field activities. 
  • Submit reports on time, ensuring they are accurate and reflect the status of operations in the field. 
  • Communicate key field data to the office team in a clear and concise manner. 

Training & Workshops: 

  • Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers, entrepreneurs, co-operative members and other stakeholders on various tools and processes. 
  • Follow up with participants to ensure understanding, encourage use of products, and provide ongoing support. 
  • Tailor training to meet the needs of the community, ensuring inclusivity and comprehension of all participants. 
  • Assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of project related activities. 
  • Coordinate on logistic management, training and workshops facilitators and training material preparation 

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with farmers, entrepreneurs, and co-operative members, establishing trust and rapport. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for co-operatives and provide them with guidance and support. 
  • Address concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction and engagement. 

Monitoring & Feedback: 

  • Monitor the effectiveness of fintech tools and services in the field and gather feedback from users. 
  • Share feedback and insights from field visits with management to improve services and processes. 
  • Help implement improvements or adjustments based on feedback from co-operatives and farmers. 

Compliance & Documentation: 

  • Ensure all data collected is accurate, complete, and complies with company policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of training sessions, field visits, and client interactions. 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Prior experience in fieldwork, community outreach, or working with farmers/entrepreneurs is a plus. 
  • Experience in organizing and delivering training sessions or workshops. 
  • Basic knowledge of fintech services and tools is advantageous. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. 
  • A valid driver’s license with personal vehicle is preferred. 
  • Willingness to travel to remote areas (Makwanpur) as needed. 

Special Requirement for the Role:

  • Flexible for fieldwork in rural and remote areas, might be required to start the day early in the morning or late in the evening as per the project requirements. 
  • Occasional weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines. 
  • Access to necessary resources for transportation and communication tools will be provided.
