Job Description

We are seeking all levels of F&B staff (from trainee to managerial level) for our Japanese and Chinese restaurant. Experience in Japanese and Chinese cuisine preferred but not required. Trainings will be given. F&B staff needs to conduct themselves with very positive, energetic, and friendly gesture. He/ She should posses proper knowledge of food items, mixing food and beverage, protocol, and service styles when serving the guests. Staff conduct should be impeccable at all times, especially in front of customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets the guest and provide assistance with their queries.
  • Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
  • Suggests food and beverages to the guest and also try to upsell.
  • Takes food and beverage orders from the guest.
  • Obtain revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
  • Filling in for absent staff as needed.
  • Co - ordinate with the kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
  • Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
  • Maintains proper dining experience for the guests
  • Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Prints closing report and drop the cash with the front office/ accounts department.
  • Tally the Credit Card settlements for the day with the batch closing report.
  • Close the shift on the POS terminal
