Bagaichā, a multidisciplinary art and food hub, is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team.

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our unique multi-disciplinary space. You will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all of our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and equipped to meet the needs of our customers, artists, and business partners.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.
Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, performance spaces, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
Allocate office space according to needs.
Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.
Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field
Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
Strong understanding of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security
Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Good analytical/critical thinking
