About the job

The Sales MIS role encompasses data analysis, report generation, progress tracking, communication management, and market research. This role includes facilitating and coordinating with sales staff, assisting in reporting to supervisors and managers, and providing necessary sales reports to senior management. The MIS will ensure effective, accurate and timeliness of sales report management and presentation.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration with a minimum 2 years of experience, having prior experience in Sales MIS (FMCG Preferred).

Key Responsibilities

1) Data Analysis and Report Generation:

  • Assist ASM, RSM and Sales Head in managing sales reports, data analysis, and creating sales dashboard and other periodic review presentations.
  • Ensure all reports and presentations are accurate, timely, and of high quality.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis.
  • Prepare customized reports as per the requirements.

2) Progress Report Maintenance:

  • Maintain progress reports for the sales department and individual team members.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely updates of sales and marketing progress.

3) Communication Management:

  • Manage communication within the sales team and with other departments.
  • Ensure effective communication channels are established and maintained.

4) Coordination:

  •  Facilitate and coordinate with sales staff to ensure smooth operations.
  •  Assist sales staff in the joining, induction process/separation, and trainings aligning with HR.
