Roles and responsibilities of this job
Location: UMN Thapathali Office, Kathmandu
Salary/ Compensation: This is not a salaried position but must be self-supported or seconded by an appropriate volunteer sending agency, details of which may be provided to suitable candidates if required.
The ED provides overall leadership to UMN, accountable to the Board of Trustees, and oversees the management of UMN, ensuring it achieves its strategic objectives. The ED must communicate, embody and promote the vision, mission and values of the organisation develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both locally and internationally, including the Government of Nepal and supporting donors; and work with UMN Supporting Partners and other current and new funding sources to raise funds and to develop the partnerships necessary for fulfilment of the UMN Vision
