Roles and responsibilities of this job

Relevant Master’s degree with at least 6 years of working experience in organizational leadership and management
Evidence of designing projects and formulating project proposals, policies and strategic planning
Good networking skills with a proven ability to develop relations with funding agencies, government and other stakeholders
Ability to advocate with government policy makers and influence national and international organizations and groups
Good interpersonal skills with ability to build personal and team-based relationships with staff, partners and leaders at all levels
Capable and competent to make decisions with result orientated approach to program and ability to prioritize efficiently in tight deadlines and schedules
Good understanding of national and international right based development and politics with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Nepali and English appreciating the multi-disciplinary team in cross-cultural environment

Competent candidates from socially excluded groups such as woman, janajati and dalit will be given preference. Shortlisted candidates will be called for written and oral interview

Centre for Agro-Ecology and Development (CAED)/Women, Girls, and Child Rights Program (WoGCRP) works on the issues of children's rights, girls' school education, women/adolescents SRHR and livelihoods by applying child focused approach (CFA) with the support of Asian Aid Organization (AAO), Australia. It is seeking a passionate and competent Program Coordinator based in Surkhet district of Karnali Province with the aim to coordinate WoGCRP for the empowerment of disadvantaged vulnerable children, their families and communities, and making a real difference in their lives in the remote and isolated villages of Surkhet, Dailekh and Jajarkot districts.
