KVDA is implementing a four-year Urban Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EBA) Project with support from GEF and UN Environment to build resilience of local communities in the Kathmandu Valley to the increasing impacts of climate change through nature-based and EbA interventions.
1. Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has received a grant from LDFC towards the cost of "Urban Ecosystem based Adaptation for Climate Resilient Development in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal" and intends to apply a portion of this Grant to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Expression of Interest is invited for National Consulting service.
2. The Urban Ecosystem Based Adaptation Project, PMU (Urban EbA Project) now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible environmental consulting firms (consultant") to provide the following consulting services "Undertaking Baseline Evaluation of the Urban EbA Project”.
3. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information about EOI document free of cost at the address Urban EbA Project, Anamnagar, Kathmandu (KVDA Building) during office hours on or before May 25, 2022, 12:00 noon or visit e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. (for EOI document). 4. Consultants may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications.
5. Expressions of interest shall be delivered online through e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before May 25, 2022, 12:00 noon.
6. In case the last date of obtaining and submission of the EOI documents happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date but the time will be the same as stipulated.
7. EOI will be assessed based on Qualification 40%, Experience 40%, and Capacity 20% of consulting firm and key personnel. Based on evaluation of EOI, only shortlisted firms will be invited to submit technical and financial proposal through a request for proposal.
8. Minimum score to pass the EOI is 70.
