Invitation for Electronic Bids for Procurement of Fabricated Steel Parts for Trail Bridges

1. The Government of Nepal (GON) has allocated TB-SWAp funds to Likhu Rural Municipality for Trail Bridge Program and the Rural Municipality intends to apply the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for supply of fabricated steel parts for Trail Bridges. e-Bid is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. The Likhu Rural Municipality invites sealed bids from registered fabricators for supply of fabricated steel parts for following Trail Bridge. Detailed Evaluation and Qualification Criteria are provided in Section Ill of the Bid Documents.
3. The Bidders/Fabricators with experience of successfully completing fabrication and supply of steel parts for minimum five trail bridges within last five years. New fabricators may apply in joint venture with an eligible firm having the required experience. Fabricators who are not enlisted by Doll may also apply. However, bids of such fabricators shall be considered responsive only in case fabricators fulfill the requirements.
4. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Rural Municipal Executive Yasam or www.bolpatra.gov.np
5. Bidding documents may be purchased from www.bolpatra.gov.np by eligible Bidders, on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for bid documents as mentioned in the following table, until the 2078-01-30 (13-05-2021) from the first date of publication of this notice. 6. Bids must be submitted through www.bolpatra.gov.np, on or before 12 noon on 2078-01-30 (13-05-2021). Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend on 2078-01-30(13-05-2021) at the office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Yasam, Okhaldhunga. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of 2.5 % of the quoted Bid amount (inclusive of VAT), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period.
8. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, bidder has to deposit cash in Deposit Sthaniya Taha Dharauti Khata A/C No:41525240600004, Likhu Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Nepal SBI Bank, Yasam Okhaldhunga and submit bank deposit voucher along with the bid.
9. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
10. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at the office of the Rural Municipal Executive Yasam, Okhaldhunga on upon requirement if need.
