Invitation for Bids

1. Sainamaina Municipality has received a grant from GoN towards the cost of following bids and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for NCB/22/077-78. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. Sainamaina Municipality invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Construction of Sainamaina Primary Hospital (15 bed), Sainamaina, Rupandehi under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
3. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 18,00,00,000.
- Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: number of project is 1 (One) Building Works and value of each project is NRs 10,50,00,000.
4. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document of a non-refundable fee of Rs.10000 in account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank:

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Sainamaina Municipality Office at 1:00 pm on 2078-02-02.
6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Sainamaina Municipality through PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 noon on 2078-02-14. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 1:00 pm on 2078-02-14 at the office of Sainamaina Municipality. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format amounting to a minimum of Rs.40,00,000, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
9. The Office of Sainamaina Municipality, Buddhanagar, Rupandehi reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the process and reject all bids at any time prior to award contract.
10. If any provision of bid document is inconsistent with Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2063 and Public Procurement Regulations (PPR), 2064, the provision of bid document shall be void to the extent of such inconsistency and the provision of PPA and PPR prevail.
