1. The Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulekhani - III Hydro-electric Project (KL-III, HEP) invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the following works:

Work Description and Location: Army camp construction work for power house, Sanutar, Bhimphedi-1
Bidding is open to all eligible bidders as per Section V of bidding document.
2. NEA, Kulekhani-III Hydro-electric Project invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Army camp construction work for power house under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best three (3) years within the last 10 years: NRs 52.05 Million
- Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least two (2) RCC frame building contract each of value at least Nrs.37 million within last ten (10) years
3. Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.
4. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office NEA, Kulekhani III HEP, Nibuwatar, Bhimphedi-4, Makwanpur, Nepal. Telephone No: 057-693841 E-mail: [email protected] or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra. gov.np/egp.
5. The Bidder submitting their bid electronically may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system i.e. www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically should deposit the cost of NRs. 5000 for bidding document in the following account.

6. Bids must be submitted to the office Kulekhani III- HEP, Nibuwatar, Bhimphedi-4 only through e-GP system i.e. www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp before 12:00 on 2077-04-27 (i.e August-11-2020).
Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidder's representatives who choose to attend at date 2077-04-27 (i.e August-11-2020), 13:00 hrs at the office of Kulekhani III- HEP, Nibuwatar, Bhimphedi-4. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of NRs. 13,70,000.00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
8. NEA, KL-III, HEP shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of bids. Pre-bid meeting shall NOT be held.
9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
10.NEA, KL-III, HEP reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
11.Any person or director of board of any firm, organization or company that has been blacklisted as per the Public Procurement Act is not eligible to participate in bid by having incorporated new firm, organization or company and in the name of such new companies.
