ER Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator- 1 position

The position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plan for Emergency Response Project, strengthen the capacity of partners in project monitoring. Ensure smooth operation of the monitoring system including programme module of SAP.

Terms and Location:  12 months fixed term employment with possibility of extension based in Country Office, Lalitpur

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science (Research) or equivalent with training in monitoring and evaluations
  • At least three (3) years of experience working in planning, monitoring and evaluation field 
  • Should be familiar with sampling techniques, qualitative & quantitative research methods, data analysis and M&E systems
  • INGO work experience preferred. SAP knowledge added value
  • Experienced in using statistical analysis, database and other standard software i.e. Epi Info, Excel, Access, SPSS, and SAS etc
  • Excellent Communication and report writing skills both in English and Nepali languages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop M&E framework/plan for each and every ER Projects before project implementation
  • Provide orientation on M&E framework to all concerned plan/ project staff within a month of project implementation
  • Ensure timely collection of field data, data analysis covering grants/projects and sector based on consolidated figures, present report to management including infographics 
  • Administer and verify field data with multiple sources of information and from field records
  • Develop forms/format and maintain daily distribution of relief materials to capture people reached disaggregated by sex, age, group, disabilities, and caste/ethnicity, location for each distributed items
  • Provide training to build the capacity of partners NGOs in M& E framework
