Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment with feminist value through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns- against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. We currently work in 19 districts with district offices in Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Dang, Kailali, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rukum, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and, Surkhet with Central Office in Lalitpur. WOREC is currently looking for candidates to fulfill the following positions:

WOREC Nepal, a National level NGO is working for the protection and promotion of human rights for the past 26 years .WOREC is dedicated to prevent violence against women, its causes and consequences, and to ensure economic, social and cultural well-being of women as well as other marginalized groups by promoting their access to rights and social justice. WOREC is the first organization in the country to introduce concept on safe migration as a tool for prevention of trafficking, and now with learning and experiences from the ground has been broadened within organization’s work frame including labor rights and right to mobility as key to prevent trafficking and slavery-like practices.
We depend on the many generous contributions of time, blood, and money from the different peoples around the world public to prevent trafficking of women and children and advocate for the rights of survivors.
WOREC is updating her consultants’ roster in the following areas and calls for expression of interest from individuals with following areas of expertise:

  1. Trainer/ Resource person for Gender, GBV, Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) including Harmful Traditional Practices, Gender equality and non discrimination through right based approach
  2. Trainer / Resource person for orientation, review & monitoring of SDG framework & mechanism and other UN Human Right Mechanism.
  3. Monitoring & Evaluation Expert for developing monitoring tool/ result  based monitoring and tracking tools particularly on the thematic issues like gender, Gender Based Violence , Reproductive Health, Harmful Traditional Practices and Economic empowerment of women, Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR)
  4. Institutional Development and Evaluation Expert
  5. Leadership Development and Advocacy Trainer
  6. Expert on NGO policy documentation
