Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelors’ degree in Environment Science/Forestry at least three years in relevant working experience
• Age should not exceed 45 years as of September 28, 2015.

Additional Qualification and Skills:

• Having knowledge on  environmental /social safe guard ,Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and  Initial Environmental Examination (IEE)

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Promote environmental awareness
• Organizing training/orientation/discussion of PAF staff, POs and COs in the application of the environmental guidelines
• Monitoring implementation of the environmental guidelines
• Monitoring cumulative environmental impacts, and developing PAF strategy to mitigate adverse environmental impacts
• Establish linkages with environmental organizations to provide COs with information on techniques to enhance natural resource productivity and reduce environmental health risks
• Promoting discussion on environmental issues and advising on policy development
• Overseeing the development and updating of the environmental guidelines
• Co-ordinate environmental campaign work in PAF related  activities
• Lead the process of selecting of environmental consultants for carrying out environmental assessment and environmental audit
• Review environmental screening, Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), monitoring and appraisal reports submitted by environmental consultants
• Undertake field visits with the approval of division chief
• Monitor the works of environmental consultants
• Report periodically about the functions performed and status to the division chief
• Other duties as assigned by the division chief
