Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Quality Assurance:

Quality assurance tests like in-situ compaction tests in embankment fill including reinforced soil structure
Quality Assurance for gabion filling, geogrid laying and other associated works including reinforced cement concrete works
Review of Quality control documents of contractor and ensuring adherence as per the requirement

Training and guidance:

Providing training to contractor and client on quality aspects and requirements in the project

Monitoring:

Monitoring quality aspects of project in reference to the checklists as per construction manual and Quality assurance plan for the project

Documentation:

Preparation of Quality monitoring reports including deficiencies and improvement proposals and circulation to the line manager

Interaction:

Interacting regularly with Client and contractor for necessary guidance and improvement
Timely response to the queries raised by any of the stake holder and party in the project.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Not Required

Other Specification

Bachelor of civil engineering with 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Exposure in road work including lab tests and field tests on soil
Exposure in gabion filling and reinforced soil structure will added advantage
Exposure in concrete technology

Note:

Salary: (CTC offered) Nepali Rupees 4-5lacs/annum
Location: to be stationed at a site which is 100 km away from Kathmandu
