Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified engineer for our technical support team, specializing in electronics, biomedical engineering, or Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET). The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in engineering principles with a focus on electronics and biomedical equipment. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a customer-oriented approach to provide effective support to our clients.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to electronic and biomedical equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and product management to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment.
  • Document and track customer inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in our system and record.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions for customers and internal staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electronic and biomedical engineering.

 Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics engineering, Biomedical Engineering or BMET.
  • Previous experience in technical support, preferably in the electronics or biomedical industry.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, sensors, and biomedical equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
