Tise Hotel Boudha, welcomes you to Nepal and to the town of Boudha Kathmandu. Whatever the reason and however long the journey is, we hope to make your stay here as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Ti-se is run by a family and managed under a distinct Tibetan-Nepali hospitality and modern amenities.
We have been based in the valley of Kathmandu, Boudha for a long tim,e and because of this, we are well attuned to the town of Boudhanath and to the capital city. Ti-se is pronounced "tee-say" and refers to the native name of Mount Kailash in Tibet.
Mount Kailash is the most sacred mountain to the Buddhists, Hindus, Bonpos and Jains as well. Tibetan Buddhists believe the peak is the sacred site of Demchog and his consort Dorje Phangmo. Hindus believe it as abode of Lord Shiva and Parvati and myth logically it is considered as the embodiment of Mt. Meru, the invisible center of the earth.
