Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH invites applications from suitable and qualified individuals for Support to Health Sector Strategy II (S2HSS II). GIZ is supporting the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to implement the Nepal health sector strategic plan through S2HSS II. The overall goal of S2HSS II is to strengthen the capacities of the institutions responsible for social health protection and healthcare provision of the population. S2HSS II covers three major areas of work in Nepal:
- The institutional capacities to guarantee the financial sustainability of the national health insurance scheme run by HIB are enhanced.
- Municipal evidence-based health sector management has been improved with the collaboration of representatives of vulnerable women and marginalized groups.
- The institutional capacities of state actors to network digital information systems within the health service have been enhanced.
