Blind Women Association-Nepal (BWAN) is a non-political and nonprofit social organization spearheaded by blind and visually impaired women. Functioning as a self-help group, the organization is committed to fostering the holistic development and empowerment of women and girls with disabilities in general and blind and visually impaired girls and women in particular. BWAN strives to establish equal access to justice, education, employment, and social activities. BWAN announces a vacancy for a project, “Empowering Women with Disabilities for Economic Justice and Gender-Based Violence Prevention in Tilottama Municipality, Lumbini Province”, in partnership with Disability Rights Fund (DRF). The objective of the project is to force the local government to implement the existing national and international policies to prevent gender-based violence against women and girls with disabilities and promote economic justice for women and girls with disabilities in the Tilottama Municipality of Rupandehi district of Lumbini Province.
