Job Description

The post holder is responsible to run the school effectively, and support Program Coordinator and Board to run the school smoothly. He/she will be responsible for the overall management of the school.

The post holder must be creating a model school by promoting and encouraging quality education. He/she must create a nurturing family environment and support with physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of each students, staff members and clients. Also make creative plan for further progress and development of the staff, school as well as the organization. He/she should submit the monthly report to board members through line manager.

Responsibilities:

  • The post holder must carry out the following mentioned responsibilities:
  • Prepare annual targets based on strategic goals, objectives and students need
  • To initiate creative ideas, devise and deliver suitable classes for students and teachers
  • Manage the physical, human and teaching resources to foster the achievement of the school's strategic goals
  • Providing advice, input, support and monitoring the teaching and learning processes at classroom
  • Provide necessary support, encouragement and resources to create a positive, collaborative and effective working environment for the staffs
  • Develop and promote learning partnership between home, school and community
  • Maintain a safe physical and emotional environment for students and staffs
  • Demonstrate good practice and a thorough understanding of current approaches to effective teaching and learning across the curriculum
  • Ensure the positive and stimulating learning environment with the opportunity to the students to express their thoughts and opinions in a respectful environment
  • Organizing and assisting in professional development of staff
  • Evaluating and reporting on the work of teachers and on the teaching of subject/area in the school
  • Report to the line manager on the use of finances and assets purchased to support the learning programs and also the monthly progress report
  • Other works will be directed by the line manager and board

Work Relation: Board members and staffs of NELUMBO, NEPAL and board members of John Jyoti Foundation, staffs and community people
