Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Counselor at Nepal Education Consultancy in Kathmandu. The Educational Counselor will be responsible for providing educational consulting, student counseling, career counseling, and facilitating communication with students and education providers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized one-on-one counseling sessions to discuss students' academic progress, aspirations, and challenges, offering tailored advice to help each student meet their academic and career goals.
• Assist students in selecting courses and majors aligned with their interests and career aspirations, providing valuable insights into career paths, job market trends, and further education opportunities.
• Guide students through the college, university, and scholarship application process, including preparation for entrance exams, crafting application essays, and mastering interview techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1 year Experience in the education industry or related field is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English language
• Ability to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students
