• Through interpersonal interaction, assess the needs of the prospective foreign study students, point out and describe the best choices that would suit their needs, process that they would need to engage in to fulfill their goals and assist them in taking these steps,
• Should keep themselves continuously updated with universities, faculty details, and courses, along with living details, standards, and other conditions involved in foreign studies,
• Act in the best interest of the students and provide advice that would help them attain their goals in the most efficient manner,
• Build a professional, cordial rapport with the organization’s client and maintain a professional relation with them.
• Maintain the organization’s client relation and network through continuous follow-ups, and status reporting.
• Engage in promotional and marketing activities that will assist in increasing the organization’s client base.

The education/ career counselors shall be responsible to brief prospective foreign study students to help them make decisions on the appropriate faculty, university, and country; that will help them achieve their long-term education/ career goals.
