E-Commerce Website Developer

Contract Type: 4 Months Fixed term contract (Nov 2019- Feb 2020)

Hours: 42 hours per week

Responsible to: Program manager

Overall job purpose

Design, maintain and enhance E-commerce website

Key task:

Design a E commerce website for online marketing of community women’s product
Operate the online platform
Build, test and implement high-performance, scalable, reusable code
Manage product into page
Maintain and enhance the website
Orient technical part to operate the website to skilled women
Write a monthly progress report
Write a final report at the end of the project

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding work on sites
Work with rural women

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree of computer science or relevant field

Experience and Knowledge:

Web development experience focused on authoring PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a scalable e Commerce environment
Knowledge of Magento, WordPress (woo-commerce), drupal, etc.
Experience in Responsive Design
Experience in Product Management

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
Excellent English language communication skills both written and oral
Ability to work under pressure
