Tekvortex is seeking talented and experienced mid to senior level Drupal developer to join our Product Engineering team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing the software solutions that make up a larger cloud platform.

The Product Engineering team is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and optimization of the software solutions. You will support product delivery in internal and external environments to improve stability, ensure quality and security.

Responsibilities

Work closely Product Owners and the rest of the engineering team to define features and their implementations with careful attention to quality, scalability, and maintainability
Establish oneself as the Point of Contact for your area of expertise/knowledge
Investigate and fix bugs independently
Write automated unit, functional, and integration tests independently
Participate in all Agile ceremonies and meetings, including technical design/feasibility, estimation and planning
Provide and receive feedback to continuously improve
Mentors and coach junior team members
Pair program on pipelines for deployment of infrastructure and application changes (senior-level)
Pair program on bug investigation/fix of the deployment pipelines (senior-level)

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Other Specification

3+ years industry experience (Mid-level)
6+ years industry experience (Senior-level)
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent

Technology Requirements

Advanced Programming skills in relevant languages. PHP with Drupal 7 and MySQL experience required. Experience with Java and Angular is a plus
Understanding of version control systems (Git/Github) and work tracking product (Jira)
Experience with API-driven development and testing
Expertise running and managing Docker containers in one or more cloud providers preferred (AWS/Azure)
Strong analytical, design, problem solving skills and customer focus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good understanding and experience in modern software design/software engineering
