Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue for the company. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial instincts, a consultative sales approach, and — ideally — hands-on experience in the Fintech space.

Core Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target markets
Conduct frequent client visits to understand their needs, strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform go-to-market strategy
Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company growth targets
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients
Negotiate terms and close contracts/deals
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Technical teams to align offerings with market needs
Track pipeline, report on KPIs, and provide regular performance updates to management
Represent Rapid at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related client-facing role
Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development/sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client visits and business meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the Fintech industry is strongly preferred
Candidates with hands-on experience in Marketing and/or Sales will be preferred
Existing network of contacts within fintech, banking, or financial services
Familiarity with digital payments, lending, or banking technology products
