Position Responsibilities

• Drives project vehicle for project purpose following project protocol and guideline, safe driving protocol, include health and safety protocol, security guideline, coordination and communication guideline, etc.
• Ensure that vehicle is regularly maintained as per guideline, such as regular cleaning, ensure the vehicle is always with sufficient fuel, check vehicle condition in regular basis and propose and facilitate basic and complete vehicle maintenance procedure with maintenance service provider.
• Maintain complete, accurate and timely vehicle log book
• Ensure to keep valid driving license and vehicle license. For vehicle license, the driver must coordinate to ensure the renewal of license in advance.
• Ensure vehicle is always occupied with complete kits such as toolbox, fire extinguisher, first aid, etc.
• Assist Finance and Admin Team on maintain accurate records and paperwork on all vehicle-related purchases and maintenance
• Willing to drive outside duty station and overnight, and follow the guideline for long distance drive following safety and security protocol
• Provide support to both programming and operations teams including but not limited to deliver and pick up document, deliver and pick up staff/guest, photocopy and scan document, and other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum SLC degree is required
• At least 5 years of work experience as a driver, with USAID or other donor project experience is preferred
• Able to communicate in English
• Excellent and clean driving record
• Valid local driver’s license for four wheeled vehicle
• Willingness for frequent travel within the country and able to check road condition before departure for safety precaution
• Able to maintain good working relationships with team members while retaining high levels of confidentiality and discretion
