Caritas Nepal, a leading national NGO, invites eligible applications from qualified Nepali citizens for Food Security and Resilient Project-Khatyad, Mugu Project. The project aims to increase food security and climate resilience of 500 smallholder farmers in ward 5 and 6 of Khatyad Rural Municipality in Mugu district. The contract will be for 31st December 2024.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent with 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with agriculture or equivalent with 4 years of experience in agriculture and livelihood-related
• Experience in project management and implementation.
• Willingness to work in remote districts ( Priority will be given to those who have working experience in remote districts) 
• Ability to be resilient and adaptive to new situations
• Ability to facilitate positive change and build sustainable working relationships
• Ability to seek and share knowledge
• Good coordination and communication skills 
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and analyse a situation, synthesize information, and use the outputs to improve implementation and good coordination
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills
• Well-versed in English and Nepali languages and have good knowledge of computer skills with general software such as Microsoft Office 
• Experience and knowledge of Coordination, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and transferring into action.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
• Two wheeler driving license will add an advantage.
• Local residents will be given more preference.
• Female candidates are encouraged to apply. 
• Ability and willingness to frequent field visits in the project area.
• Experience in representation and interaction with donors, and government officials.
• Must be a professional who seeks to identify and communicate potential problems and alternative options
