The role overview
The Director of Programmes (DOP) has the responsibility for representing all programming to the VSO Nepal Programme Business Partnership team (NBP), leading to decisions which will enable VSO Nepal to meet its VSO, donor, partner and volunteer obligations.
As a key member of the VSON business partnership, take a leading role in developing a country strategic plan (CSP) that will provide a strong business case for VSO Nepal for the next 5 years.
The DOP will line manage all heads of programmes and the M&E and Communications Manager and will lead, guide and facilitate the business of the VSON Country Programmes Management Team CPMT).
Together with the NBP, ensure that the VSON programme meets its annual KPIs of funding, finance and volunteer numbers.
As an equal member of the NBP, be jointly responsible for establishing and maintaining the integrity of the business partnership.
Overall, to work closely with all heads of programmes and the M&E and Communications Manager to ensure that the reputation of the VSO Nepal is enhanced through the completion of quality documentation and reporting at all levels of programming
