Job Description: Digital Marketing Officer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, content creation, and social media management, as well as experience in paid advertising and technical SEO. This role will involve developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keyword Research and Analysis:

  • Identify relevant keywords and phrases that potential customers use to find our products or services.
  • Analyze the competitiveness and search volume of these keywords to inform content and SEO strategies.

2. Content Creation:

  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and informative content that appeals to target audiences.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for target keywords and aligned with SEO best practices.

3. On-Page Optimization:

  • Optimize website elements such as meta titles, descriptions, headings, and URLs.
  • Improve site structure and internal linking to enhance user experience and crawlability.

4. Technical SEO:

  • Ensure website speed, mobile-friendliness, and security (e.g., HTTPS).
  • Fix technical issues like broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.

5. Link Building:

  • Acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable websites to improve domain authority.
  • Engage in outreach and content promotion to build relationships and earn links.

6. Local SEO:

  • Optimize for local search results, including Google My Business listings, HamroBazar, Daraz, Google Sites, and similar platforms.
  • Manage online reviews and local citations to enhance local search visibility.

7. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  • Generate reports to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.

8. Social Media Marketing:

  • Promote content on social media platforms to increase visibility and drive traffic.
  • Engage with audiences to build brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Run Meta Ads campaigns to boost sales and brand identity.

9. Google Advertising:

  • Manage paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) to complement organic SEO efforts.
  • Optimize ad copy and bidding strategies to maximize ROI.

10. Competitor Analysis:

  • Research competitors' SEO strategies and performance.
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in the market to stay ahead.

11. Content Marketing:

  • Develop a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals.
  • Promote various types of content such as blogs, videos, and infographics.

12. Social Media Management:

  • Create and schedule posts on various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

13. Offline Marketing:

  • Collect testimonial videos from different sources.
  • Collaborate with apartments, sales markets, restaurants, and more for business promotion.

14. SMS/Email Marketing:

  • Collect emails and contact numbers for database marketing.
  • Run database marketing campaigns with different strategies to engage and convert leads.

15. Knowledge of Photo and Video Editing:

  • Utilize Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Cap Cut for basic design and video editing tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, SEO, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Webmaster Tools, and other SEO tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Experience with local SEO and managing online reviews.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Cap Cut).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in offline marketing and database marketing.
  • Familiarity with collecting and utilizing customer testimonials.
  • Ability to collaborate with various partners for business promotion.
