About the job

Blys, a leading on-demand marketplace for wellness services, is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer at Blys, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support the continuous delivery and scalability of our platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing global company.

Please note that this is an On-site role.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security best practices across our infrastructure and software development lifecycle

Evaluate current infrastructure and workflows to pinpoint areas for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, ensuring operational expenses are minimized while maintaining performance and reliability standards

Implement and enforce best practices for security, reliability, and scalability

Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes

Collaborate across teams to nurture a culture of shared responsibility and document infrastructure for efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration

Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS

Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack or Prometheus/Grafana

Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
