Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a reliable and capable PHP & Python Developer to join our development team. The developer will work on web applications, backend systems, APIs, integrations, automation, and ongoing improvements to our software platforms.

We are open to strong junior developers, although candidates with 3+ years of professional software development experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, test, and improve applications using PHP and Python
Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations
Work with databases and write efficient queries
Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
Maintain and improve existing codebases
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Use Git and follow established development workflows
Collaborate with other developers and team members
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
Investigate technical problems independently and propose practical solutions
Maintain application reliability, performance, and security

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Strong working knowledge of PHP
Strong working knowledge of Python
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies
Experience using Git/GitHub or similar version-control systems
Understanding of object-oriented programming and software-development fundamentals
Ability to debug and understand an existing codebase
Good problem-solving and communication skills

Experience Requirements

3+ years of professional development experience preferred
Strong junior developers with relevant practical experience and demonstrated PHP/Python ability are encouraged to apply
Previous experience working on production web applications is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

Laravel or another PHP framework
Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Linux servers
Docker
Cloud infrastructure
CI/CD pipelines
API integrations
Background jobs and automation
Redis or other caching technologies
