Job Description

Fundraising

  • Lead successful fundraising initiatives within the fundraise period from eligible investors.
  • Maintain consistent communication and coordination with stakeholders for capital calls and fundraising activities.
  • Develop and implement investment policies and strategies aligned with the interests of unit holders.
  • Ensure swift and accurate investment decision-making, including preparation and submission of reports and documentation to senior management and the investment committee.
  • Present investment analyses to the investment committee and support executive negotiations on deal pricing.
  • Finalize documentation prepared by the investment team, verifying the accuracy of valuations and financial models.
  • Collaborate with external consultants for independent due diligence, ensuring outcomes serve the fund's best interests.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential deals.

Investor Relations

  • Safeguard the interests of unit holders and execute fund-related transactions with integrity and transparency.
  • Devise strategies to attract new capital sources and maintain strong relationships through consistent and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with fund managers, limited partners, and institutional investors to align on investment strategies.

Deal Structuring & Execution

  • Assist in structuring investment deals, including financing arrangements and exit strategies.
  • Support negotiations with company leadership, co-investors, and legal teams to finalize investment terms.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

Legal, Compliance & ESG

  • Prepare quarterly and annual performance reports, investment memorandums, and support communication with management, committees, and the board.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) and applicable GAAPs.
  • Coordinate general meetings and other fund-related sessions while reporting on investment performance to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, legal compliance reporting, and ensure adherence to regulations governing Specialized Investment Funds.
  • Act as the main liaison for valuators and auditors.
  • Define and monitor ESG goals for investee companies, ensuring compliance with agreement terms and reporting obligations.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation through proper documentation and coordination with Accounts and Finance.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and internal governance standards for fund-related operations.
