SWBBL (a class 'D' Financial Institution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank) is a leading Microfinance Institution (MFI), operating in the country since October 5, 2001 for upliftment of the poor and destitute. The main objective of SWBBL is to improve socio-economic condition of the poor through facilitating access to microfinance services for productive undertakings and micro-enterprise.

Currently SWBBL has 155 offices spread across 61 districts with a total staff of 706 and 2,57,089 clients. As 2078.09.30, SWBBL has a paid up capital of NPR 1,12,21,70,000 70% held by promoters - comprising Centre for Self-help Development (CSD), Nepal Investment Bank Ltd., Himalayan Bank Ltd, Nabil Bank Ltd and Individual promoters and the remaining 30% by the public shareholders. It has Balance Sheet size of NPR 2080.75 Crore, Capital & Reserve of NPR 292.24 Crore, Loans & Advances NPR 1896.14 Crore with Capital Adequacy  11.33%

The DGM will assist the leadership in operation, growth and development of the organization with the following key job responsibilities:

  • Assist CEO for the achievement of SWBBL’s vision, mission and strategies,
  • Program/planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting,
  • Develop proposals, business plans, strategic documents, products and policy papers,
  • Perform administrative affairs, human resource management for the growth and development of SWBBL,
  • Perform other duties as directed by the CEO.

This position requires a person of exceptional caliber and competency. Selection will be based on robust set of competencies demonstrating experience and achievements on areas set below: 

  • Master Degree from recognized university
  • At least 5 years of working experience at mid-management level in banking and financial institution
  • Determined personality, self-starter, result-oriented, and strong human relation skills
  • Strong commitment to mission and core values of microfinance
  • Knowledge on microfinance sector, rural economy and banking system of the country
  • Strong communication and rapport building skills

Age: Not exceeding 40 years (45 years in case of female candidate).
