Job Description

Overall Responsibilities: 

This position is responsible for managing the Oral Health Care activities of clients for the company 

Specific Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Screen and identify diseases, injuries, or malformations of teeth, gums, or related oral structures and  provide preventive services
  • Provide prostheses or other assistive devices management care to patients
  • Initiate, plan, organize, dental health programs
  • Participate in teaching learning program and community dentistry
  • Segregate, consult, and discuss cases with Senior consultant in cases of treatment uncertainties
  • Promote intra and inter departmental consultation
  • Keep patients records and use available data to conduct research
  • Initiate research and help in advocacy
  • Educate clients on maintaining proper oral health 
  • Communicate with team regarding patient treatment plans 
  • Prescribe medications as necessary 
  • Carefully document all medications, screen and consultations 
  • Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff  
  • Ensure proper handling and uses of all equipment
