Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated, confident, and result-oriented Debt Recovery Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, communicating with clients regarding outstanding payments, and ensuring timely debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.

The candidate should possess strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments through calls, emails, and visits.
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions.
Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with customers when necessary.
Monitor assigned accounts and ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding customer payment status.
Prepare recovery reports and submit updates to management regularly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal recovery procedures.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients while handling sensitive situations professionally.
Identify high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate action.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in debt recovery, collections, finance, banking, or related field preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good interpersonal and customer handling abilities.
Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets.
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
