About the job

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Dealer Sales Officer to join our motors division. The Dealer Sales Officer will be responsible for managing relationships with dealers, driving sales performance, and ensuring the effective promotion and distribution of our vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential dealers.
  • Regularly visit dealers to provide support, address concerns, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and plans.
  • Monitor dealer sales performance and provide feedback and guidance to achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for increasing sales and market share.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Address any inventory-related issues to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Ensure dealers deliver excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product development.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, performance metrics, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Track and analyze dealer performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales, dealer management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong dealer relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sales and inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends.
