Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales activities within a designated region, ensuring revenue growth, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and distributors. You will lead a team of sales representatives, set sales targets, and ensure that sales goals are met through strategic planning and effective execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets in the assigned region.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer demands to adjust strategies as needed.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including performance metrics, market feedback, and forecasts.
Sales Training: Provide ongoing training and support to sales staff to improve product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget for the region, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost management.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and services to effectively promote them to clients.
Customer Service: Address any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Experience:More than or equal to 7 years

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in dealer management, sales and distribution.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer behavior.
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

Note:

Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
