About the Role: As a Data Integration Architect specializing in AWS and Python, you will design and implement data integration solutions to facilitate efficient data flow across various systems within the organization. Your expertise in AWS cloud services and Python programming will be crucial in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance integration solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, create integration strategies, and oversee the deployment of solutions that ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design and Strategy:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data integration architecture leveraging AWS cloud services and Python.
  • Create and document data integration strategies, standards, and best practices.
  • Assess current data integration environments and recommend improvements.

 2. Solution Development:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable data integration solutions using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and Data Pipeline.
  • Develop ETL processes and data pipelines using Python.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Develop data models and mapping specifications for integration processes.

 3. Project Management:

  • Lead data integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.

 4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand data integration needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with data engineers, developers, and system administrators to implement integration solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

5. Data Quality and Governance:

  • Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues promptly.

6. Technology and Innovation:

  • Stay updated with the latest data integration technologies, tools, and trends, particularly in the AWS ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data integration capabilities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to automate and optimize data integration processes using Python.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Integration Architect or in a similar role with a focus on AWS and Python.
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Data Pipeline).
  • Advanced skills in Python programming and scripting.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, JSON).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business
